Sunday we headed down to the harbor. We walked around. Went to the botanical gardens and had lunch.
We took a drive north along the coast while Annmarie napped in the car. We drove through Manly, which appears to be the hip place to be. We saw places that reminded us of San Diego and La Jolla and also places that reminded us of Tiburon back home. Some real gorgeous places. We drove as far north as Avalon and then started heading back west. We stopped at Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park in search of kangaroos.
We found some and AM thought they where the best. In fact, she kept wanting to get closer to them. Funny how she is not scared of a Roo punching her out, but won’t even cross paths with a bug on the ground. There was this one Roo that started hoping down the path and Annmarie exclaimed “Papa”. It was big. After seeing the Roo’s she also exclaimed “This is fun”. This made us feel good. We know that this move has been a big change for her and she misses seeing her buddies, toys, and her old routine. But she has also proven to be very adaptable and such a sport about everything.
