Lately

Lately we have been getting a lot of birds. I know the bird pictures on the blog is a bit overkill. The kids love them and we like talking to them. Have we gone crazy?  For sure. For awhile we were getting the same two kookaburras (at least we think they were the same ones).

 This was just a huge bird party.

Ben started taking steps on the 8th of September. He'll typically takes a couple and then chickens out and starts crawling. He loves it when we cheer for him.

After we got back from Fiji Ben got sick. He too got conjunctivitis in his eyes along with a bad cold. He was a mess. It is basically impossible for a one year to not rub their eyes and trying to get drops into his eyes was torturous. At the doctor he weighed 10.3 kilos or nearly 23 pounds. He's solid and strong.

The 9th of September marked our two year anniversary down under.  The picture below was taken weeks after arrival. It's crazy to think that Annmarie has spent nearly half of her lifetime here.
