November December-ish

Before we packed our bags and headed across the sea to America, here were some of our moments.

A owl in our front tree. We hear owls all the time, but seeing this guy was a first. I caught him swooping in and his wing span was impressive.
Jamie and I enjoyed a night out in Sydney.

Jamie had "training" in Thailand (insert eye roll).

Beach days beginning.

Ben starts preschool next week! Back in Nov there was a little meet and greet at the school. Ben loved it and didn't want to leave, I'm hoping this is the case when he starts. A friend kindly posted Jamie the SF Chronicle.

It was just the four of us for Thanksgiving this year. We celebrated with a Thanksgiving chicken, some sides and pumpkin pie and it was almost all sourced from the local Farmer's market.

And we opened a bottle of Keith.

We had some awesome thunder and lightening storms, here is one brewing.

More knitting and Serial listening.

I started Ben in swimming lessons, he's doing great.

Mangos. Lots of mangos.

The jacaranda trees were in full bloom, I just love them.

More time at the beach

We had a little Chrissy party with Ben's mates.

Annmarie turned 7!!
Poor thing fell ill the day before we left for the States. We gave her her gifts and celebrated with a slice of carrot cake which all four of us shared. She didn't have a appetite at all and all she wanted was a bowl of rice bubbles (rice krispies). She was a trooper.

Commig soon - our 'merica adventures.
