Mother's Day

For Mother's Day:

Jamie made me a fabulous breakfast!

Annmarie gave me tons of kisses. Although, I try and get these every day.
We went out to dinner with Nana and Uncle Jon. We went out for Indian food. The food was great and Annmarie loved the naan and rice.
It was a beautiful day, so we ate outside. We let AM play around on the patio.
Annmarie ate a leaf and here we are trying to convince her to spit it out.
I didn't have much luck. Oh, and can you tell that I got my nails done.
We got this great picture of Annmarie and Nana.
I enjoyed the extra special attention. It was a really nice day. However, Jamie appreciates when I need a little break and it doesn't have to be Mother's Day for that to happen. Annmarie and I are very lucky.
Here is Annmarie and I last year on Mother's Day in the car in Garberville (Humbolt County). We spent 8+ hours (driving time) in the car driving home from Oregon. It probably took us about 14 hours to get home because we took a lot of long breaks, in some interesting places (Garberville was one of them). Annmarie was such a great sport. We have a lot of great and fun memories from that vacation. I can't get over how much she has changed. She was still just breastfeeding here.
Also, it was too bad my Mom couldn't have joined us for the day. She was recovering from pneumonia, crazy. She is doing much better and is starting to feel like her old self again.

What a great day. AM is a lucky kid. Love AM's outfit. Sorry to hear that your mom is sick, but glad she's on the road to recovery.
