Hawaii - Part Two

Aloha!

Day five brought more pool time.

At breakfast. Annmarie occupied.

Ben. The look of mischief.

Diamond Club ended with a farewell picnic and concert.
We made ourselves comfortable by the bar.

Some of the Aussie team.

Matt Nathanson performed and did an incredible job at getting all the stuffy corporate types up and dancing. He was awesome and funny.

Hi!

Colbie Callait also performed.

Very fun evening.

The next day we saw Matt at the pool. We had a little chat about San Francisco and thanked him for a awesome performance. Cool dude indeed.

Sadly, Diamond club came to an end. At this point the kids were wiped out and they both took epic naps that afternoon and we had a chill dinner at Fred's Taco shack.

We spent an extra four nights on our own. One night at the Mariott and then moved over to the Andaz for three.

On day seven Jamie and Annmarie went on a snorkel trip out to Molokini. But I think the highlight was riding in the green bus.

This is one of Jamie's boss'. :)

After they got back we checked out of the Mariott.

And headed to the Andaz where kids were now allowed to stay.  Kinda. I wouldn't label it a kid friendly place, but they were not alone. It was also Jamie's Birthday so we wanted something nice.

We had more swimming and Sushi for dinner the first evening there.

On to day 8.
It should be noted that breakfast at the Andaz was one my favourites. Yum.

Morning hangs with this dude.

Check this out!
My cousin was on Maui too! The same time we were! Cool for us.
They were there celebrating a big wedding anniversary.
They kindly came to us and we spent the afternoon at the pool catching up and kindly allowing the kids to harass them.

It was so great seeing family.

That evening we had dinner at Pita Paradise.

Day nine was our last night and Jamie's 40th!
We kept with our theme of staying at the pool and later that afternoon Jamie had a pass (from me) to sit in the bar and watch the NBA final.
We hired a babysitter that evening, someone we met through the kids club and Jamie and I went to Joe's for dinner. Drinks were awesome.

We then had some cake back at the hotel.

That brings us to the end of our stay. Everyone loved Hawaii, really, whats not to  love. Ben keeps asking to go back. We've been to Maui before, so we really didn't feel any pressure do anything  but relax and let the kids play at the pool (all they really wanted to do). We didn't even have a car and got by just fine with shuttles.

Until next time.
Mahalo. xx
